Luka Groselj predominantly advises international clients on all aspects of Swiss law, including non-contentious contractual matters, pre-dispute strategy, and complex cross-border disputes. He regularly supports clients at both the transactional and contentious stages, helping them structure, manage, and resolve Swiss-law issues with a strong focus on risk assessment and strategic positioning.
He has substantial experience representing institutional and private clients in high-value, multi-jurisdictional matters, in particular in commercial and sports-related contexts, as well as in Swiss court proceedings connected with international disputes, economic sanctions, and general business law.
Luka advises clients personally and, depending on the nature of the matter, collaborates with partners within the firm and, where appropriate, with trusted external legal and non-legal advisers (including accounting and financial specialists), ensuring appropriate level of expertise advice tailored to the client’s needs.
Prior to joining Innolegal, Luka practised for several years with a leading Swiss law firm, where he specialised in international arbitration. He represented clients in large-scale commercial and sports arbitration proceedings and appeared on numerous occasions before the Swiss Supreme Court, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), as well as before institutional arbitral tribunals, including proceedings conducted under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Swiss Arbitration Centre, the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
In parallel with his law firm practice, Luka serves as Senior Legal Counsel to a Switzerland-based international energy joint venture. In this role, he advises senior management and governance bodies on sensitive legal matters, including international sanctions, corporate law, corporate governance, risk management, and disputes, in Switzerland and abroad, within a demanding cross-border and regulatory environment.
At ease in multilingual and multi-jurisdictional contexts, Luka brings a structured and pragmatic transnational approach to his mandates, combining the rigor of private practice with the practical judgment of senior in-house experience, and focused on delivering solutions aligned with his clients’ business and governance priorities.
